These flowers always remind me of a huge (and showy) relative of the dandelion. :) Very pretty!

The plant is Allium. Possibly the Gladiator type
I thought, at first, these were thistle flowers (or some such name) but know they are not. I'm glad Chihuahua ID'd them. It's such a great photo.
