Love your B+W photography! But I decide promptly for the blue of the water (I can't help it: Atlantic must be ocean blue) and so for the colored one. Juergen
Same with the others. I love a B&W photograph, but with the color one you can feel more of the warmth of the sun and the texture of the posts, brick and snow.
I really like both but the blue of the water and that pinky colour of the bricks are so fabulous together. So it's the colour one for me too. Looks like it's a walkover so far! Love shot.
Also the color one. The blue is simply amazing :) But I guess with a little time spend with sliders in program like Lightroom the b&w one would kill the color one :)
The blue of the ocean is a gift to us all!! That is a lovely picture. My daughter works in Boston and i visited in June. You live in a BEAUTIFUL place !!!

ReplyDeleteJuergen
I can see what you mean but I have to agree with Juergen...
ReplyDeleteas we have established, repeatedly, i know nothing about photography, but i know what i like. i like the picture in color better.
ReplyDeleteand, apparently, so do these two experts (see above), so maybe i know more about photography than i think i do. :)
I love the color!

ReplyDeleteBoth are great and convey different feelings.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your work--it gives me great pleasure!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf there were not the right picture
ReplyDeleteperhaps the colors appear different?
Who knows ...
I like both, of course!
Both are wonderful photos. The color does seem to emit warmth.
ReplyDeleteThe black and white looks timeless, could have been from any era. The character of the granite, shadows and snow say winter to me.
Thanks for both. Either way...it's an excellent shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely post! We made up our minds for the left one! Magnificent!Léia and Cezar

ReplyDeleteYou are doing so well with B&W lately I may be have a slight preference for the second one..
