I spotted these young girls with the million dollar smiles sitting on the Esplanade yesterday. Actually, I heard them giggling and enjoying themselves before seeing them and couldn't resist asking if I could take their picture. They happily posed for me with their balloons and told me they were from Wellesley and have been on school vacation this week. Don't you wish you looked as good in a balloon hat?
...so they have a good reason to celebrate the vacation in cheerful atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteA fair and beautiful shot!
Yes I do! Unfortunately, I can't see that happening!
ReplyDeleteYouth is always beautyful.

They are cute! Why the heck aren't they in Florida on Spring Break?
ReplyDeleteI love the pops of color in the balloons...it matches their smiles...
ReplyDeleteThe girls seem to have fun ...
ReplyDeletebut funny balloons!
:-)
How fun you ran into them! My American Lit professor was a Wellesley grad and one of the best, most enthusiastic teachers I've had the pleasure to sit under. She shared a bit about life on that campus and described for us watching the Boston Marathon from her apartment's upper story window. Every student should be so lucky to have good friends to hang with and just have fun, balloon animals and all, like these women. Super capture.
