Bob has worked in the Public Garden as a grounds keeper for 15 years. When I asked if he minded having his picture taken he said he has had his picture taken many times by tourists and is used to it. He said he has seen everything filmed in the Garden, from photography shoots to movies.

You've captured the wisdom and wit of a man who works with earth. Nice portrait, Clueless.
ReplyDeleteGreat portrait of l'homme blasé!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like that tree in the background.
ReplyDeleteI envy Bob his job! What a wonderful way to spend 15 years.
ReplyDeleteHe is still incredibly rugged up for what is nearly summer!
I wonder what he does in the Winter? Besides snow removal and deicing, what's left?
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautyful portrait of Bob. You shoot him on the place he's working, among the trees that he's taking care of;And he is natural, at all meaning of the words: because he works among nature and because he's keeping to be as he is usually.
ReplyDeletePS: Thank you so much! your response was my reward for this translation! And it's very interesting to discover how and what do people read when they live somewhere else, have grown up in another culture , and take wonderful pictures. Thank you to have shared a little from your "background"!
