Monochrome Monday

It's Monday and time for another round of monochrome madness. I've heard the only thing that doesn't change is the cemetery; but one thing I'm positive doesn't change is the devotion of b&w enthusiasts. Their pictures may be viewed at the home of Monochrome Maniacs.

  3. Epic! This is just superb. The detail in the ironwork and the ambience of the cemetery jump out of the photo and I feel like I have walked into the scene. Thanks for your comments on the Phoenician and Camelback Mountain series on my site.

  9. Great shot. What a beautiful gate even if it is to a cemetery. I wouldn't have guess that's where it was.

  12. I'm not so sure about how unchangeable the cemetery itself is, but I agree about is as a worthy subject for B & W. And this was another fine example.

  13. If it wasn't for the Audio notice, this would be utterly timeless. Sepia suits it.

  15. Whoa Nellie! Is this an actual altered photo? I can't take my eyes off of it! If it weren't for the ittle 'audio tours' sign I would have thought that it was a painting!

  20. This would make a superb cover for a mystery novel! The clarity of the gate wrestles with the eerie mystery of the background...
