I first encountered living statues in Providence, R.I. several years ago. I found the concept of living art so fascinating that I couldn't be moved and my party had to come back for me. This one is quite different in style from the ones I saw that night but you've captured her appeal beautifully.
Quite a lifelike statue. At first I thought it was someone posing.
ReplyDeleteHa! Spent the day yesterday at Harvard Square... photos around every corner when I go there.

ReplyDeleteCool! In the portal, I thought it was a real statue!
ReplyDeleteAll the fun of a mime... Oh wait, mimes are not fun at all.
ReplyDeleteFun photo. :)
I must be getting old: I remember when there was just one living statue at Quincy Market and one in Harvard Square. Now they're everywhere!
ReplyDeleteVery attractive. She was posing for you, right? Now, did you give her a tip?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a tough way to make a living!
I hope she made a lot in tips!
ReplyDeleteI'd probably give up after five minutes, very impressive to just stand there and then smile evry now and then for money.
