Monochrome Monday

You can view a similar color picture of this scene I took last year. Other B&W pictures can be found at Aileni's home for Monochrome Maniacs.

  6. Those sailboats just make that scene. I like this one so much in B&W, I don't think I want to look at the color!

  15. Your blog is intersting. Although it's nice to see color, every photo is basically better in black and white/monochrome. Every one is more poetic, more artistic, shows improved shawoing, when monochrome. Even the color ones, looking at them and imagining mono, would look better as such. So it is my opinion. One man. one Boston native. Thanks for posting. www.coolkayaker.blogspot.com

  16. gorgeous composition. The sails and the skyscrapers and trees makes a nice scene. i like the monochrome. Thanks for your comments about the Glen Canyon dam and bridge. I am glad you liked them. For some reason I like heights and the views they bring. Last year we did the bridge climb at Sydney harbor. that was quite amazing. We were tied off.
