City Daily Photo Blog theme day this month is contrast. The contrast here is not only the light and the dark, but the new young conductor, Shi-Yeon Sung, filling in on very short notice for the injured James Levine at Symphony Hall Tuesday night.

A beautiful shot and I love that you've made it fit so beautifully today's theme.
ReplyDeletea full house..very amazing!
ReplyDeleteMarvellous! What also struck me is the two pianos! Now that's a contrast from the ordinary one. Had to look it up - I've never heard that piece by Stravinsky. Hurray for a woman conductor too!
ReplyDeleteOh my what a great photograph. The interpretation of theme day is original.
ReplyDeleteExcellent image and good choice. Sorry for director Levine...

Beautiful picture. I just love symphony hall.
ReplyDeleteClassy, musical photo of undoubtedly a wonderful evening! Maybe the music contrasted, too?!
ReplyDeleteReally good shot - and what a place:)
ReplyDeleteVery nice choice. I love Symphony Hall. Been there many times.
ReplyDeleteIt's so interesting to look at the shot and create our own contrasts. For me it is how small the humans are in the enormous hall. And yet, they filled it with sound in a way they could never fill it with their bodies.
ReplyDeleteYou really helped him make his debut memorable!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Photograph.
Great array of organ pipes in the background.
ReplyDeleteGreat!
