Happy New Year! I don't know what got into me, I scheduled a Wednesday Doorway on... a Tuesday... I like the symmetry of this with the brick lane leading up to the brick house.
I loved those stones at the floor (?), sorry I can remember the correct name, anyway it's fabulous and your picture is perfect!I also loved the green at the windows! Hugs Léia
Red brick buildings and cosy doorways of Beacon street made me wish to stay on red brick streets of Boston forever. Thank you for reminding of that feeling by your photo!

What would it be like to walk down that walk, possess the key to that door, open the door and step inside?
ReplyDeleteA lovely entrance, wish it were mine.
ReplyDeleteThe green frames the red bricks which frame the white which frames the door.. That makes an attractive view that leads us to the door!

ReplyDeleteThe doorway is great, but the red brick building and the red tiled pavement frame it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLovely name for a street - Joy Street. Maybe we could twin it with Hope Street in Liverpool, UK.
ReplyDeleteAs usually very chic:)
ReplyDeleteVery classic looking. The brick paving adds a lot to the overall look.
ReplyDeleteTerrific portico(?). Stately but not overstated. Like your perspective with a lot of the pretty walkway.
ReplyDeleteI love the architecture of this building / doorframe. Very nice picture
