I find this picture soooo beautyful, peaceful and quiet! The first thing I saw were the benches, then the ducks, and I suddenly realised they were walking ON water! so the river is all in ice?!..Normal for you, but I've NEVER seen a river all in ice like this!I find it so beautyfully impressive!
I absolutely love this shot. The picture is well balanced, and the 2 silhouette bring a lot to the general composition. I noticed at the end the 3 ducks walking away on the frozen lake, which also adds interest. This was the perfect picture to take in B&W!
My thoughts were the same as Malyss'. I liked the brilliant "water", liked the people, loved the ducks -an added bonus to a great photo. My son (ever the 15 year-old critic) thought this one was a terrific photo too.
Sometimes it's okay to shoot into the sun! Great photo!
ReplyDeleteI specialize in shooting into the sun... you probably know that by now. LOL. Love this shot!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive! I think, that B&W enforced this effect yet. Very good photo.

ReplyDeleteI like this one a lot! Not keen on the other, but I always prefer strong B&W.

ReplyDeleteLove the way the silhouette effect dominates and how shooting into the sun works here.
