Chinatown Gate

The traditional Chinatown Gate (paifang) with a foo lion on each side is located at the intersection of Beach Street and Surface Road. Here is a picture of the gate I took a few years ago from a different location.

    It's always fun to see the Chinese gates in our urban environment. I'd love to go wander in there.

    I think I will dig out a few of my Boston shots from last year. Really enjoyed the city, nice pleasant atmosphere we thought.

    When I see a Chinese gate like that and a street of Asian shops I instantly smell stir fry and dumplings. I love Chinese food.
