A quiet moment reading the newspaper outside the Orange Line subway station at Downtown Crossing.

  1. The effect of the coloured glass on the pavement [sidewalk] really makes the shot. Gorgeous here in the UK today and supposed to last through the weekend.

  2. Wonderful shadows -- very unique. And, you're right...that person is a dying breed. Nowadays, typically, you see someone reading their smart phone.

  7. Most attractive - and it makes a change from the dreary canopies normally associated with subways.

  9. Everything everyone had said before about the stained glass! Poor reader, nobody has an interest in her ;-) - even her t-shirt matches the orange of the subway entrance.
