Cathedral of St. Paul on Tremont Street. A slightly different view of the cathedral I took two years ago.

  2. I love how the monochrome brings out the patterns on the columns. Beautifully done.

  3. You 've got a great talent to tell a lot with a little..Choosing this angle, you explain where you are, how big and impressive is the place, and make a powerful shot!

  8. I was just going to say the same thing, Hilda! I've never seen these in person. Is it marble? cement?

  9. Massive columns set off by much more delicate ironwork. Impressive. I like the figure seen through the railing - gives a great sense of scale.

  11. Imposing column, I like the veneers of the marble rendered perfectly in B&W.

  13. I can feel the weight of those massive columns. I like the counterpoint of the person sitting off to the side. You have a great eye for composition.

  14. Love the monchrome - your tones are nice. Your angle makes it look enormous and feel heavy (which is great!).

  17. Buildings with columns seem to draw the camera, they always make a good b&w subject.
