Monochrome Monday

Bugler's Holiday. Music of a group of brass quintet playing on the Boston Common Friday.
See the entire quintet on Light Impressions.

  1. I am wondering why you exchanged the bugler with this one ... ;-) (you can never hide anything from us feed-readers :-P). I like both, though.

  2. Love the way you've composed this and it works so well in b&w.

  4. Very nice! I think I can even see the reflection of the musician in the instrument.

  5. Nice photo - this is definitely best expressed in monochrome. I really like the reflections in the brass instruments, and the contrast with the musical notes on the page

We have a monochrome photo this Monday, too:

  6. Wow. That is a great shot. I feel bad because I don't think i ever say anything interesting or intelligent on your blog but perhaps I'll get used to your talent soon!

«Louis» will check this out! He played "Bugler's Holiday" when he was in the band in High School. It was a fun piece to play!

    Nice monochrome image!
