I haven't heard the name Scollay Square in decades. I worked there in the late 1960s and the name was mostly gone even then. As were the burlesque halls that used to be the area's biggest fixtures. Or so I heard . . .
Love the crispness in the lower half of the photo and the fog in the top half. Somehow an 'after the rain' photo seems more alive!
