iPod, uPod, we allPod

Large iPod billboard sign at the corner of Stuart and Columbus. Doesn't it seem that advertising is encroaching on every part of society - sports stadiums are covered with advertising signs and are named for products or companies; city buses are moving advertising signs, and billboards are getting larger and larger.

  1. We certainly do live in the land of consumerism.

  2. I love the photo, but I was shocked by the size of the billboard. I agree with the encroachment, and I don't like it ... every square inch is in jeopardy of being covered! I guess Times Square is a good example of over doing it.

  3. It's its own Time Square- ostentatious and overblown...

  4. There is a billboard just like it here on the Strip at the Fashion Show Mall. I see many IPODs at the gym. I'm holding out(I am basically cheap.) Do you have one?
