A view of the old and the new in Boston, represented by the almost 200 year old Park Street Church and a luxe condo building going up behind it. Other views of the construction can be seen here.
The building in front of the crane is Suffolk Law School and was featured in yesterday's lantern and Wednesday doorway.

ReplyDeleteThe contrasts in this photo are many and the scene looks good too. The crane makes an impression not unlike the church steeple. Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteThe steeple and the crane against the very blue sky captured and composed so well. I always photograph construction or town changes, it's a good way of documentng changes in the landscape.
ReplyDeleteHi Slim, I like the contrasts...and the sky too!
ReplyDeleteSee you then on tomorrow's spying!
Great contrast - hope the old is always preserved.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing the old and new together. Its a nice contrast and good photo too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic photo that puts thing in much better perspective for me. thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe steeple and the crane seem to be competing. I usually don't like modern buildings as you may have read on my blog but in your country I find such contrasts quite interesting and aesthetic. Have a nice Sunday and thank you for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeletethis is an amazing shot. I like that they are the same high!
