    I thught I recognised the photo! One I loved in colour and is equally fascinating in B and W.

    Great atmosphere in that shot, in my opinion better in b&w than in colours.. But great shots both of them;-)

    The sign causes a curious optical effect in B&W - makes one look harder.

    For once, I prefer the colour version; It brings a little more heat, it has a more summer mood.

    It does appear bevelled in the b&w and not so in the colour. Interesting shooting.

    I love this image in b&w. It has a timeless feel where the color shot (which I also loved) really felt contemporary.

    I like the sharp nean sign in the color version, but I prefer the B & W overall. Great shot!

    Hey Clueless:

    We're Monochrome neighbors this week and I just thought I'd drop by to borrow a cup of visual stimulation. I'm amazed at how warm the color photo appears and how cool and nightlike the black and white appears!

    your monochrome shots are always epic. Thanks for all of your comments on my site while we were away on the solar eclipse tour. We appreciate your words. I am enjoying catching up on everyone's photos. I love the color version of today's photo also, and the earlier train station monochrome.     I like this short as looks like you stepped back in time and gone to Paris in the 1950's. As always a great shot of a everyday scene.

    I don't believe this! I hadn't even noticed the cinquième saison on the colour one! I'm probably going colour blind. I don't know which one I prefer, they both have a very different atmosphere.

    There is something very European in that view. Lovely place for an evening walk. You are right - the colors of the evening are gorgeous, but looks very well in mono too
