Theme Day: Waiting

First of the month is theme day for the City Daily Photo Blog (CDPB) Community. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants.

My interpretation of waiting is the statue of noted children's author Theodore Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. I imagine him here in this pose waiting for inspiration to write more clever rhymes.

  10. How clever indeed. Have you had the chance to read his book 'Oh, The Places you'll Go'? It's all about waiting for things to happen in your life.

  13. excellent composition for theme day. as always, well done. I always envisioned Dr. Seuss as being rather active and frenetic to come up with his rhymes and stories and illustrations. I did not think of him being contemplative.

and think low and think high.
    Oh,
the things you can think up
    if only you try!”

That's one I remember for reading it Many times to my children..

  22. You may be right, but he could also be meditating on how he's going to spend all of his money before he dies!

    Great shot, as usual!
