A sure sign of Spring in Boston is the return of the outdoor fruit stand in Downtown Crossing at Summer and Washington Streets.

It's too bad that at the end of the summer Lambert's and every other bendor and business owner will be booted out of there to make room for another skyscraper with unaffordable housing. The Basement will be gone for 2+ years and no plans to relocate any of them. Sometimes Boston and Mayor Menino SUCK.Destroy the small businessman to make room for another Newbury Street in like 5 years. Godd luck with that!
