The carriages look like those used for weddings but I still would take one to see the city. We prefer this mode of transportation to see famous cities like Savannah, Georgia.

This would be nice to do if you are in love. Yeah well....

Ah, something I've never done. Sure have lots of photos from the outside, though. Perhaps I'll do a carriage ride next weekend when I visit Victoria BC. Thanks for the idea!

We always talk about taking a carriage ride in Niagara on the Lake. Maybe one day.

How much does a ride cost? Here ist about 80euros...The carriages have really evolved to a classic and elegant (yet expensive) way to travel around cities. Here was mine: http://viennadaily.blogspot.com/2008/02/fiaker.html

Happy weekend!

I like how the horses match the carriages in color. I took a carriage ride around the French Quarter in New Orleans, and it was a lot of fun. I'll bet Boston would be fun too.

Would love a ride in one of these thru your elegant and historical city.

Even though I have horses I can ride anytime at home, I still am drawn to carriages whenever we visit the city. I would love to take a ride!
