October Theme Day

Theme Day for the month of October is "Lines." My interpretation is of the lines in a building, both architecturally and in the texture of the materials used in its construction. This is the Hurley Building and is a genuinely ugly building, only surpassed by Boston City Hall.

So many different lines in this building yet somehow it all works. Lovely choice for today.

I like your idea of mixing visual and tactile signals.
I can almost feel the lines on my fingers watching the bottom wall.

I worked next to this building several years ago. The exterior is textured like corrugated cardboard and it's not only ugly but poorly designed, with stairways that lead nowhere.
