He's one of those who helped your country to arise. He seems to be still walking proudly, leaving in the trail behind him what has be created thanks to him.. that's the feeling your picture gives to me! Have a nice week-end!
Well shot; the line of the tulips, from right to left and then the skyline up to Washington from left to right makes a strong shape and seems to give some 'motion' to the statue. He was also a good general.

Gorgeous shot.
Beautiful statue in the tulip garden.
How beautiful!
Excellent one.
Love the line of Tulips. Nice colors!
I agree with John, there is an effect of moving in this statue, great!
Standing tall in all his glory, the parterre of flowers is so fitting.
Great shot of the skyline of Boston at its colorful spring time best.
That's a great angle to capture him with the tulips. ~Jeanne
Excellent combination of elements in this shot. Well done!
I love this! The yellow of the tulips, the statue and the skyline in the background. Great stuff!
That is a very nice composition. Valerie
I know this statue!
Very fine!
The tulips are mostly gone here - but we are warmer earlier than you there in Bahsthan...

They say if a horse statue shows one front leg lifted, the rider was wounded in battle - but I don't know if that's true.
