I remember waiting ages last year to get a shot of these without tourists, don't think I managed. You had more patience.
I don't know the book but I love this sculpture!!!!!!
Read it over and over and over again growing up... thanks to Captain Kangaroo! Visited this sculpture many a time with my son.
We have a picture of my daughter riding on one of them...it must have been Mrs. Mallard...but she is in her twenties now.
I'm quackers over this shot. It's perfect.
Love the angle, the way they're coming at you. They're quite cute:)

Great book by Robert McCloskey, one of my kids' all-time favorites along with his Blueberries for Sal. And, you captured this grouping very nicely. The Red Sox are rain-delayed tonight after hours of steady rain, so these ducks are happy!
still quacking in the cold :)
Nice, good perspective!
I love the way you've captured this. It looks like she's in the process of saying "Make way....."
