Well this one certainly takes me back as I have the unique honor of having been a rude and sassy Durgin Park waitress, though I could never cut it like the true old-timers.
Good old Durgin Park. This was the place to go in the 1970s, when I lived in Boston, and it was famous for the grouchy waitresses, like Teresa says. I am surprised that they have survived to the current day. Dining standards and expectations are so much higher now.
__I remember Quincy Market as it once was... in the 60s and 70s, and yes Jack... a visit to the 'then' Durgin/Park was an experience, and obviously so... we've not forgotten! Climbing the stairs, and at that arrival at the top step, the kitchen! _m
