Brighton High School

Yesterday we saw the front of the Taft Middle School, which at one time was Brighton HS. When the school outgrew the Taft it moved across the street to this building. As you can see, the present High School is adjacent to St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Below is a better view of the front of the Brighton High School building on Warren Ave.

In the first picture, I thought the school was the hospital. The second picture clarified. I think I would photoshop number 1 to remove the hospital sign. Might be fun. to remove with clone function.

It does look like a castle! Better than a prison like some of ours!

It looks like a castle. I lived in Newton near Brighton for six years, while I worked in downtown Boston. My daughter lived in Coolidge Corner near Brighton for two years while getting an MBA. These photos remind me that I never explored Brighton very much despite lots of chances.
