Wednesday Doorway

One of the many fine doorways of the First Church of Christ Cathedral seen in yesterday's post.

Great photo of an architecturally-interesting doorway

Church doors are always so ornate; I wonder if it's to promote an enticement to enter? Whatever the reason, they are certainly marks of beauty, such as this one. PS I haven't visited for awhile, scrolled down and loved especially the photo of the man and boy waiting outside the museum!

Sometimes the simplest things. To me, that is a very well composed shot. Imagine the number of people who have passed there without giving it a second glance and yet the architect may have spent days on that detail. Thanks

These doorways you show never fail to amaze me. How a tntrance can be so expressive each time. Fabulous shot of yes a very fine doorway.
