Ugliest Building in the world

I've known for a long time Boston City Hall was the ugliest building in Boston, but now Virtual Tourist ranks City Hall as one of the ugliest buildings in the world.

I though about this site Saturday when I read the article you linked. I recalled that in the past you had labeled city hall as one of the ugliest buildings around :)

So Boston isn't just famous for beans and clam chowder any more. Congratulations.

I'd have to see the building in person to get the full effect. It may have some drawbacks but there are thousands of buildings that could beat out this one for ugliest in the world.

Regardless of its ugliness, according to today's (11/21) Globe, it was responsible for the growth and prosperity of downtown Boston. Maybe if they just got rid of the surrounding concrete and replaced it with grass and trees.

It is an ugly building! And right in the historical heart of Boston, too. Yuck. What were the city planners thinking? That said, though, the rest of your city is lovely.

It's definitely in the top ten!
