I'm amazed at how American robins are larger than our cute, little, fluffy European ones! Don't they say everything is larger in America?! ;-) Good shot, it's easier to catch one in the winter here! Have a great Sunday!

I'm amused by the words of Ciel, she seems to be right... Beautiful image of a colorful bird in perfect pose against grey straight lines and a flush of out-of-focus green.

Anything but a pigeon.

This is really a superb shot. This robin seems to be defying the "bob-bob-bobin'" reputation of his species. He is a thoroughly distinguished and stately looking figure.

It frightens me that the first thing that popped into my mind when seeing this was, 'I need to check my twitter' (because of the bird logo it posesses..) I need to get off the computer crack apparently!

Fabulous shot! I love robins, but unfortunately I only get to see them for about a month in the spring before they move on to the north.

excellent capture. He posed for you in a good spot as you have a superb composition. As always, I am glad you enjoy some of the photos on my site. Today I have an unique photo of Chihuly glass art that changes color at a certain time of the day based on the sun's rays. Happy Fourth to you also. Boston has a magnificent Fourth Celebration. I was fortunate to attend your Boston celebration last year and want to go back again. I heard Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops and then went and stood on a freeway overpass and saw spectacular fireworks.

Ah, such a nice Robin Redbreast. Good work!

To what shall I compare this life of ours?

it is no more. -Gibon Sengai (1750-1837)
