Monochrome Monday

Park Street Church on a rainy, foggy Monday. The building obscured by fog in the background is the 37 story One Beacon Street building.

Not a nice day!

I imagine that the church steeple looks better with the skyscraper behind it obscured by fog.

A symbol: the modern building is already slowly disappearing, meanwhile the old church is still there, since years and years...
I love the melancholic mood of this picture.

Like the perspective. The mist in the background helps the old spire to stand out, without it it might have got a little lost in the new building.

This picture is soooo beautiful!
I liked the tower and the fog around, a mystery feeling in all!

I wonder why most Monday's look like this?

Love the shot and as others have said it so works with the fog - a beautiful old church.

That looks so amazing and eerie! Fantastic capture.

You have no idea how your photos of this area bring back the memories for me...so many days that I walked down that particular street to catch the T to take me to the Forsyth...long before the MFA even thought about buying it.

The mood is captured perfectly in black and white!

It has the fog wrapped around it like a filmy cloak.

Wonderful. Puts the church into a smaller city.

The fog together with the white sky gives this photo the special twist.

The fog makes this photo even more attractive.
