Boston Common

View of the Parade Grounds on the Boston Common. The structure on the left is one of the entrances to the parking garage beneath the Common, in the far distance to the right you can see another entrance to the garage.

I used to spend a lot of time on the Common but I don't remember the parking garage. I must be getting old.

Such wonderful bright colors in your photo!

A parking garage under a park. Amazing to me!

Assuming that the parking garage is under the grass between the two entrances shown in your photo, a parking garage never looked better.

I lived on Beacon Hill for 3 years without a car and was totally unaware of this underground garage. On a return trip, I rented a car. One of the memories of that trip is riding around and around trying to find the entrance to this garage. As I recall just getting over to the proper street was one of the problems.....one-way streets..???

Great concept! What year was this garage built?

Blue and green , and the skyline between.. A good idea, to have a parking under the park. No place wasted!

I didn't know there was a parking garage underneath!

What a lovely common. The Boston equivalent of Central Park?

The grass has certainly greened up well...now if the trees decide to get busy...

This is an excellent photo with great color and interest. The parking garage entrances help make the shot.
