I'm always drawn to your Monochrome photos. This is beautiful. Reminds me of the old Chateau in Gorbio village. Looks like it was taken in a very old building.

Hmmm. I'm trying to figure out where you would have taken this photo. It's extremely well done!

Monica June 15, 2009 5:44 PM

Looks like this was taken inside an old barn or shed? It's beautiful wtiht he texture of the walls and the windows. Beautifully done.

Julie June 16, 2009 3:26 AM

The opaque glass affects the light so wonderfully here. I also like the particles of dropped plaster that add to the texture.

Very pleasureable to look at ...

Marie Reed June 16, 2009 4:30 AM

Breathtaking monochrome! The gritty texture when embiggened is so touchable! Before I enlarged it the vase looked like a baggie filled with white powder:)What's wrong with my brain?

Liz June 17, 2009 4:08 AM

That is perfect!

Edward looks as if he's ready to laugh right now!

Mojo June 21, 2009 3:23 PM

Well THIS one jumped off the page as one of Aileni's faves from last week. I can see why he picked it. Magnificent work!

I'd frame this photograph. Simple subject, great composition and you have the "eye."
