View of the State House Dome from the Ashburton Street entrance, which is on the back side of the State House. I have taken this shot from slightly different angles before: here is
a view of the iron gates. The gates alone are magnificent, but when combined with the view of the dome against a dramatic sky is one I never tire of.
This frontal view is
my favorite picture of the state house.

I'm with you. A timeless perspective.
A very beautyful architecture..I like those colors, and this golden dome.I understand that you want to picture this place from all kinds of angles.
It's so pretty! The gold dome reminds me of the Georgia Capitol building in Atlanta.
I would be surprised if you were tired with this view. Amazing!
Yes it is a beautiful perspective and the colours are fabulous.
Wonderful composition here. It's as if the dome is some golden orb rising. Beautiful.
Wow This State House Dome is really amazing!
Beautiful picture!

You surprise me yet again. I lived on Bowdoin Street, smack-dab beside the State House, but yet I never ventured around to this street to find these gates!
Thanks for sharing this view.
Very beautiful. I loved the front view snap of Massachusetts State House.
You certainly have a knack for composition...and the gold dome just puts everything else into perspective...wonderful!
I think it's a great capture. The composition is great.
The gold dome is such an iconic sight. I love walking around this area.
I don't think I've ever approached it from this side. Thanks for opening my eyes. It's somewhat mysterious because you are wondering what lies beneath that beautiful dome.
I'm a tourist dud! I've never been to the state house! I just read a small article about the dome and Paul Revere's copper sheeting business:)
