This week's doorway is a meat shop on Salem Street in the North End.

The North End feels like home to me. Love the Italian neighborhood! My favorite restaurant there is Giacomo's. Yum!!

That shot I like. Loved the North End on our trip there earlier last year. Nice to see they are selling rabbit. You don't see that so much, but I've always liked it since I was a kid.

I know italian veal cutlets, but I'm quite curious about the new-york strip steacks...
The light is like in an Edward Hopper's painting..

Is that a shovel behind the broom? And is the shovel for inside the shop use or outside? Hmmmm.

Love your photography. I'm writing a murder mystery set in Boston. I come here for inspiration and get lots of it. Thank you for wonderful work.

I'll try 'em. I like REAL butchers.

You find such fascinating scenes to photograph! You'd never find a store front like this in San Ramon! Thanks for stopping by.

You have a great blog here. I like reading unique blogs like yours. I have a site myself which provides information on popular vacation destinations. I want my site to be a place where anyone from around the world can come and have that vacation spirit or "vacation feeling" as you can tell from my domain name.

I'd like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around between each other. Please let me know if this is possible.
