Wednesday Doorway

This week's doorway is an interior door at the Worcester Art Museum. Wouldn't you like to see what other treasures lie just beyond?

I know, I know..The subject is supposed to be the door, but you know how much I like benches..Ü and this one , in the middle of such marvels!I guess I could spend a lot of time sitting there and admiring the paintings around!

Nicely composed shot, especially as the door is the chosen subject; exposure is excellent as well.

Yes! But I'd be equally content to just sit in this quiet space and contemplate the lovely artwork in it.

I sure would!

Yes, I would! But first I'd sit peacefully here and dwell on these paintings. This is a beautifully composed and exposed image.

Yes, definitely. Especially if there's more Flemish to see.
Excellent doorway post.

Great take on the doorway theme. I've been wanting to visit this museum for years. I was actually pretty close a couple of years ago. By any chance, did you get a photo of the John Singer Sargent painting...a boat/water scene???
