A beautiful photo to commemorate and thank your veterans with.

But I have to say that I really hate weapons of all kinds, no matter how artistic they look :(

You have caught the atmosphere of such a site very well.

Cannons make beautyful pictures as soon as they become useless..The sepia gives a mood that matches very well with the memory of the American Civil War. (here, we call it the Secession War).
Have a nice week!

Beautiful perspective and depth of field. The mono processing only serves to further enhance what is already a very fine shot.

A strong image of these cannons. Both perspective and b&w works very well here.

Very nice! I like the closeup! We have a couple cannons near the Military Reserve here in town that high school students built as replicas of ones used in our history. I never thought about taking a photo of them from an angle like you did -- thanks!

Happy Memorial Day!

How can weapons of death and destruction look so attractive?

This is a very fine photo!

It's an unusual for today since most of the Memorial Day posts have flags or tombstones featured. A welcome change and creative "shot."
