Thank you all for visiting and your kind comments. I'm glad the title of the post was appreciated as all our minds are "happily sitting in the gutter." :)
The musician was very good and also appreciative that I wanted to take his picture and was interested in the results. Unfortunately, I failed to ask his name.
I always leave street musicians a tip, too: whether I ask their name or not. Do consider the Strangers project. A group of us from Down-Under felt intimidated by the original Flickr site and started our own as a cooperative blog. It has worked a treat as we supported each other over the last 4 months. We don't all live in the same city: but do share the same culture. Even the shyest of us, has made remarkable gains confidence-wise.
Excellent ... I am pleased you are taking the plunge. Will be my pleasure to follow your progress. May I link to your Strangers from our Aussie Strangers side-bar, please?

Great title, terrific image. I have been shooting muscians all weekend and this is a cracker.
I read SEX in the park! My mind is happily sitting in the gutter!
We have seldom street musicians here, except during the music festival, in June.
(Marie Reed's comment made me smile!)
Facial expression is so sublime and with appreciation to love of music.
Wonderful shot!
A perfect photo. This sax player sure got a lot of charisma.
Did you leave him a tip? :-)
Good grief, at first I misread your title too!!! Great shot, I bet it was great to listen to as well!

Oh ... and thanks for your visit to my CDPB. The young equestrian is back today with the focus more firmly on her concentration.
He looks serious about his work...and your photo catches that perfectly. Excellent shot!
Love the expression on his face. Good work in contrasting light. Well done.
Music is all around!
That's a wonderful shot...I love the lighting, and the musician looks so engaged. I'm sure his music was heavenly...
He sure looks the business, a great photo.
He is blowing so hard we almost can hear the Saxo sound!!!

Marvelous shot! He looks like he is really enjoying himself.
I love shots of musicians...it's their shiny instruments I think!
