Public Garden Suspension Bridge

The signature suspension bridge over the middle of the pond in the Public Garden was erected in 1869. It has been called the world's smallest suspension bridge.

Harvard Bridge


The Harvard Bridge (also known locally as the "M.I.T. bridge" or the "Mass. Ave. bridge") carries Massachusetts Avenue (Route 2A) from Back Bay, Boston to Cambridge and is the longest bridge over the Charles River.

Flagging the bridge


Staff at the Children's Museum of Boston were flagging the Moakley Bridge for a weekend celebration recently at the museum. All the flags were made by children and were brightly colored.
