U.S. Census

This young man was handing out flyers to attract people to a job fair for Census workers at City Hall the other day. The U.S. Census is required by law to count every resident in the United States every 10 years.

even if the boy is smiling and the picture colorful, there's something sad in that scenery..He has not the best job of the world, the jobs around census will give money only for a short time, all that means precariousness, and we can feel it through your picture.

I wonder if he knows how good he looks in orange and blue balloons?

A lovely smile.

Same here but I can't remember the last time I was counted.

The same here every ten years. Next 'censimento' would be next year, in 2011.

A nice sunny day to be outside. I hope he was successful.

A necessary job - the census gives some fantastic information about our history when the details are released. We've just had the 1911 one published in UK.

I hope he doesn't get mad at someone. Looks like he could blow up pretty easily!
