He moved the Pops beyond its origins in light-classical music into the world of pop culture, showcasing the popular artists of the day as well as the work of young American composers and arrangers. A neat sculpture technique.
The surface of the sculpture is very different; often wonder what is the intent of the artist. Fiedler is definitely a giant in the field.
I'm afraid I don't know him, but I sure like how the sculpture was made. Awesome!
What an interesting sculpture. Is it made of layers of clay?
