School vacation

I spotted these young girls with the million dollar smiles sitting on the Esplanade yesterday. Actually, I heard them giggling and enjoying themselves before seeing them and couldn't resist asking if I could take their picture. They happily posed for me with their balloons and told me they were from Wellesley and have been on school vacation this week. Don't you wish you looked as good in a balloon hat?

How fun you ran into them! My American Lit professor was a Wellesley grad and one of the best, most enthusiastic teachers I've had the pleasure to sit under. She shared a bit about life on that campus and described for us watching the Boston Marathon from her apartment's upper story window. Every student should be so lucky to have good friends to hang with and just have fun, balloon animals and all, like these women. Super capture.

my mate the magician was making balloons just like that in the mall yesterday - just fifty pence each.
